Meet Ramon

Sr. Mortgage Advisor, Ramon Feliz was born in Kharkhov, Ukraine to Dominican parents from very humble beginnings, growing up in a small farm town. His mother and father worked diligently to earn scholarships studying abroad in Russia which resulted in them both earning their Master of Biology and Doctor of Oncology degrees respectively. The oldest of four siblings, after immigrating to the United States, Ramon attended Hope High School in Providence, where he and his friends loved sports, especially baseball and tennis. After two years studying at Rhode Island College, Ramon entered the workforce experimenting with several lines of work before discovering his true passion in financial services. He reflects, “Each job offered me the opportunity to refine my skillset, and I learned that every new skill I acquired increased my value in the workforce, which in turn helped me grow financially.”

Ramon’s desire was to develop discipline around money through a better understanding of financial tools, and after the market crash of 2008, he observed how financial services never truly fail. He found the field remarkable and became infatuated with understanding more about the inner workings of finance. After researching Warren Buffet’s story, Ramon read that his father became part of the middle class through his success in the mortgage business which enabled Warren to become the highly respected expert he is today. This epiphany launched Ramon into the mortgage industry himself, starting with Citibank in 2010 where he went on to become a Home Lending Officer. After eleven years writing mortgages, and additional positions with First Home Mortgage and Mainstreet Home Loans, Ramon made his move to Province Mortgage Associates in 2025. Ramon never had a mentor to help him understand how to succeed in real estate, and because he cares so deeply for his clients, his primary focus has always been to deliver the highest level of service, integrity, and merit-based work possible. “I like saying to my team that ‘we do God’s work for our clients’, specializing in making a very complex topic easier to understand, while empowering our clients to make better financial choices.”

In between family vacations together, Friday nights and Sundays are always dedicated to family time watching movies, playing games, or hanging by the pool in the summer.
