Meet Brian

Sr. Mortgage Advisor, Brian Kaskel was born in West Orange, NJ and grew up in Dartmouth, MA as a devout NY Yankee fan in the middle of Red Sox country. At Dartmouth High School he was on the cross-country team, indoor and outdoor track teams, and was part of the DHS Music department while performing in the big band. He moved to Connecticut to attend the University of Hartford, Hartt School of Music where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Production and Technology. His first real job after college was with Infinity Broadcasting/CBS Radio as an account executive selling advertising time. He was also hired by the Red Cross in 2002, one of his former clients, to work in their marketing and development department. During this time, Brian was also moonlighting as a professional recording engineer doing freelance work for a variety of artists before starting his first job in the mortgage industry with Town and Country Credit in late 2003.

Brian learned the mortgage business at both national and local mortgage companies such as Raveis Mortgage, CT Home Mortgage, Wells Fargo, Flagstar Bank, and most recently, Amerant Mortgage having success in both producing and management rolls. “I learned to listen to what a client wants in order to help them discover what they really need. Taking the time to understand what they are saying affords me the ability to put a plan in place with the customer as my partner.” Brian is about making sure his borrowers are comfortable with their big decision of buying a home, while making sure that the customer service he provides is the best they’ve ever experienced. His network relationships become true partners because of his professionalism, vast knowledge, attention to detail, and the fact that he really cares about their success. “I am really good at seeing a transaction through from the first introduction to celebrating with closing gifts, so the experience at the closing table is comfortable, stress free, and exciting!”

Brian made his move to Province Mortgage Associates in 2025 as part of the Connecticut team because they aligned with the way he does business. Having worked for both big banks and small “mom and pop” shops, he feels Province is the best of both worlds with all the bells and whistles that a modern client has come to expect, but with the personal attention both he and his clients deserve. As a manager, he continues to build a team of like-minded, ethical individuals who want to help local families reach their home ownership goals and dreams. His dedication to his clients is a true reflection of his commitment to delivering on his promises.” Brian lives in Middletown, CT with his wife Linda and their two teenage daughters.
