Meet Diane

Mortgage Advisor, Diane Davis was born in Boston, MA and raised in her mother’s home country of Dominica, a beautiful island in the West Indies. One of seven siblings, she moved to Boston at the age of ten, and relocated to San Antonio, TX and Las Vegas, NV where she attended high school as a member of the pep squad and a competitive dance team. Diane loved creative experiences that involved art, theatre, and enjoying time with friends. She went on to attend the University of Massachusetts at Boston for her undergraduate work, where she received a bachelor’s in health science with a plan in place to go on to medical school. After losing her mom to breast cancer, who represented the support she needed to endure medical school, she instead decided to attend Northeastern University for her graduate degree and received a dual master’s in business administration and finance. Outside of her mom passing, Diane considers this career pivot as one of her best life decisions because she ultimately ended up loving so many aspects of the business and finance industries. After college, Diane interned at Boston Children’s Hospital and was eventually offered a full-time role as an administrative assistant. With interest in entrepreneurship and growing a business of her own, she purchased her first home in Rhode Island just a few years after graduation.

Diane continued working her way up the corporate ladder to the finance department with a role as a financial analyst and later earned a leadership position in revenue cycle management. Most of her corporate work experience was developed at Boston Children’s hospital spanning over seven years in the healthcare space, and she currently works with the Community Action Partnership of Providence County as a senior accountant. She gained a great deal of knowledge about the importance of networking, building relationships, being a resource, and utilizing financial data to empower decision making to accomplish important goals. Diane has been a licensed mortgage loan officer for three years, starting with MBA Mortgage Corporation in Braintree, MA under their junior loan officer training program. She transitioned to the Loan Depot Ferranti Team out of Cranston, RI, which helped to grow her local client base. With a decade of finance experience under her belt, Diane is committed to turning her clients’ dreams of homeownership and investment into reality. “I make it a habit to provide value to my clients, by being a resource beyond the transaction, connecting them with other professionals that can help them along their homeownership journey.” Diane’s clients develop a deep sense of trust and comfort in her as their advisor, and real estate agents describe her as a true partner in growing business together. She is also a natural problem solver, while providing outstanding service and education to borrowers. Diane excels at developing relationships, treating others with compassion, and being an advocate for people in need.

“Growing up in an immigrant family, I can relate to feeling voiceless and unaware of how certain systems work within the US. Helping families like mine and families who struggle in general, has always been close to my heart.” She made her move to Province Mortgage Associates at part of Team Davidson after growing genuine connections with the team who embraced her and her family. As someone who has faced and overcome significant challenges in her life, the team at Province demonstrated knowledge, experience, and that they are deeply invested in seeing their employees thrive. “I feel centered to my purpose, my WHY, and I feel encouraged to dream bigger, reach higher, and lead with authenticity.” When Diane is not working, she loves spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, listening to music, dancing, live comedy shows, date nights with her husband, and traveling to new places. She is a huge foodie who loves trying new restaurants and different cuisines. Diane resides in North Providence, RI with her husband and sister nearby. “Together, my husband and I work on building the life that we want while growing a family of our own. We hope to introduce everyone to baby Davis very soon, until then we spoil our adorable dog “Koko.”
