Meet Dariel

Mortgage Advisor, Dariel Blanco was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in Providence, RI where he attended Mount Pleasant High School and became captain of the cross-country team. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business management from Rhode Island College, and after graduation, started with Bank RI in the Consumer Lending Department where he learned the inner workings of the mortgage process. Several years later he became a Loan Officer with Coastway Community Bank, launching his long career of empowering people to make sound financial decisions around life’s biggest investment of buying a home and building wealth through real estate.

“I did not plan a career in the mortgage industry. It just became the perfect match for my financial skills and passion for helping people in my community.” Dariel does not view his job as “just making loans” … he sees it as helping families to secure a stable financial future that can be passed down for generations. He doesn’t measure his success by the number of loans he closes, but by the number of properties his clients own five years from now. Dariel acts as an analyst to determine which mortgage product provides the highest return on equity and the most strategic leverage. “I am a professional debt architect for real estate, and a strategic partner who specializes in multi-property accumulation.” Dariel prides himself on consulting, not selling. He matches the mortgage strategy to tax and retirement plans, and he has mastered the financial complexities of multi-unit properties and investment debt. He shows investors the art of ‘House Hacking’, having tenants pay for their mortgage, which can become a life-changing strategy that few loan officers take the time to teach.
